The Caravan’s focus will be “Historical” because of the theme of the ACI International Rally and the Club’s 70th Year Anniversary

The Caravan will assemble at the Back Forty Campground, Rushsylvania, OH, which is located near Jackson Center, OH and navigate along “Historical Roads and Communities” towards the 2025 VAC Rendezvous, and eventually Parade into the Fairgrounds of York, PA where the ACI International Rally will be held.

- Dates: August 18 to August 23, 2025 (which includes the VAC 2025 Rendezvous)
- You do not have to attend the 2025 VAC Rendezvous or the ACI International Rally to participate.
- You can enter the Caravan or leave it as you please along the way.
The Caravan will have overnight stays at 3 camping locations / 5 overnights in total, and caravan for 3 days for an overall mileage of (See Caravan Itinerary below)
There will be electrical and water connections, along with sewer dumps at all locations. (Remember to dump your tanks if you are parading into the ACI International Rally.)
Meals will not be provided, but on-site group dining will be organized and encouraged, along with “Sidewalk Café’s” (Happy Hours) where Historical Conversations and Q & A will be conducted with the Vintage Airstream Club’s Historian, Joe Peplinski.
The Caravan is restricted to Regular and Associate VAC Members.
The Caravan will be limited to Thirty (30) participating rigs.
There will be NO FEE associated with this Caravan. (There is a fee associated with the 2025 VAC Rendezvous and the ACI International Rally if you decide to participate in those activities.)
“Caravan Participants” will be responsible to directly contact and pay the respective campgrounds for camping. (Details provided in Caravan Itinerary Below).

Day 3 – Wednesday, August 20 th / Caravan from Rushsylvania, OH to New Stanton, PA
You will caravan on the Lincoln Hwy (US Rt30), US Rt250, and I70 east through Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Possible stops along the route include Mansfield OH, home of the former Ohio State Reformatory (location for the films Shawshank Redemption and Airforce One), and Mount Eaton and Wilmot OH in Ohio Amish Country.

Day 4 – Thursday, August 21st / Caravan from New Stanton, PA to Gifford Pinchot State Park
You will caravan on the National Hwy (US Rt40), I68 & I70, and Lincoln Hwy (US Rt 30) through Pennsylvania and Maryland. Possible stops/side trips include
Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville PA, and Gettysburg Battlefield Memorial in Gettysburg, PA. US Rt40/I68 is a noted scenic route.

1. You must be a current VAC Member at the time of the Caravan to participate.
2. The Caravan is capped at 30 rigs.
3. “Wait Lists” will be maintained for Caravan spots for those not initially selected.
4. “Caravan Participants” will be responsible to directly pay campgrounds for camping (details provided in Caravan Announcement).
5. If you must cancel your participation, please alert the VAC as soon as possible so that your spot may be offered to the next member on the waitlist. (VAC Cancellation Policy)
